Probably the only movie better than the book. The book was weird. It had dismemberment, and the emerald city was merely an optical illusion. By toning it down, MGM created a classic that gives a better experience to casual observers. And no, I am not anti-literacy. Most books are better, because they involve the imagination.

Crying because is my favorite movie and haven't seen it in a looooong time! This reminds me of my childhood, my momma used to put that movie every afternoon and while she was in the kitchen she said this line at least a hundred times... I'll always love you judy!!!!!

Does anyone know how "Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore" is often used to express realization of obvious thing? Is there any other relevance? I am not an English native. I just found this phrase frequently when I read books.
