  • what would be the best to use cinnamon sticks or bark?

  • @judytay7 I've actually used both at different times. On my end, the bark seemed to be stronger. But that could just be the brand/type that I had on hand. Good luck! And Enjoy.

  • I like your idea. I make my theives with just oils. How long can you keep yours before it spoils? Do you add any alcohol to it as a preservative. I have heard adding alcohol to herb water helps. As I stated before I've never done it cause I use oils.

  • @md50md I've never had a problem with spoiling and I leave mine in mason jars under the kitchen sink. I suspect it is because we use the lemon peel and not the fresh lemon juice in the brew.

  • @queenmarylady I notice the batch that I put into a bottle with the vinegar has lasted a long time though =)

  • I'm not sure why, but the last batch I made, only lasted 1 month and I kept it all in mason jars under the sink (dark cool place). I looked at it today and there were tons of white stuff floating around in it. YUCK! Oh, I think I used ground cinnamon because I had no sticks. Could that be why?

  • Thank for the tip!

  • @CoolKarmaVideo hi i made it twice already thanks for this vedeo ,im wondering should i refrigerate it or can i leave it out in jars ,will it spoil or not i made it just like in the vedeo imade plenty i just wouldnt want it to spoil and i have a small size fridge.

  • @queenmarylady -- I didn't have Eucalyptus leaves when I made the video and used instead ~5 Drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil. I would guess that about 5-6 drops of Rosemary Oil might also do the trick. But that may depend on how strong your essential oil is. Do what feels (smells!) right for you. :)
