  • Hi Shawn I just saw this video and I think it's pretty good. So I'm 10 and I'm 58 inches tall and I don't know which set I should get. My coach says a callaway but I'm not sure. So could you tell me and FYI I'm trying to get in the junior PGA championship, and please if you can give me anything that would be awesome! :D

  • @darkwarrior585 Hey Bud! It is all about what feels best for you; all the manufacturers say they have the best; put impact tape on the face and see which ones you hit dead centre right out of the gate; out of 5 shots, you should have 3 to 4 in center. Then once you find the right head, then you look at shaft and flex; stick to Dynamic Gold and Rifle but they both feel different too; see "how to choose your irons; shawn clement" video

  • Shawn, I've been playing golf/taking lessons for only about 9 months and I'm addicted. I've been following your videos and concepts for a while now and truly appreciate your knowledge base and teaching abilities. I was wondering if you would recommend for someone like me to get a set of blade irons. i know everyone suggests clunky game improvement irons, but I am really making a concerted effort to improve my ball striking, practicing and playing 4-5 times a week. What do you suggest?

  • @h0ss66 At that rate of practice, you need the feedback; get those blades! Shawn

  • shawn, i am looking to buy new irons and i was wondering if you could tell me the best irons to buy for about 600 dollars or less.(this is my 3rd year golfing)

  • @romero1995 All the brand names are great; you need to try them before you buy. Go to a major retailer where you can demo the clubs and then go to ebay and find your deal! :) I just got a nice set of Titleist irons in good shape for a student of mine under $200.00! There are some nice deals out there! Shawn

  • hi, im saving up for a new set of irons (im 15) and ive had the same set of irons for the past 4 years, im hoping to upgrade to some new irons. i have the choice between some nike slingshots, wilson di7 or cleveland ta7 irons. i tried these in a shop and i struggled to tell the difference between them (as im not very experienced). could you help me in any way?

  • hi shawn im thinking about buying ap2's im a 10 handicap and a pretty good ball striker.would the ap2's suit me or would you recommend different clubs.thanks

  • @clemshaw I would advise against buying off eBay. Buyers need to understand there are a lot of counterfeit clubs on eBay. I know of a few reputable sellers on eBay who can be trusted, but you really you need to be careful. I prefer buying my clubs off a reputable big box, even though you don't get as good as deal, you get a relationship with the retailer, and they keep the serial numbers in their computer, so if they get stolen, you can get the serials from them. Just my 2 cents.

  • Hi Shawn, I've just ordered my Titleist 710 Blades, I was wondering why are they more expensive than any other club out there? I hope the new 712 series isn't going to be much different, I couldn't wait for 5 months to try the new 712, but from what I've heard there isn't going too be much different. I decided to take your advise and your influence on improving using a blade over a game improvement or cavity back club.
