People don't really realise until you look back just how good certain superstars were at creating heat, to be honest although I think theirs some amazing heels in WWE past (Dibiase, Perfect, Martel, Rude etc...), however I don't think any of them created the heat as intense as Sgt Slaughter did lol
Of course a lot of this was the timing of what was going down in the world & the gimmick he played (this took some balls to do too), but credit where it's due to Slaughter, no doubt!!!

damn they were booing loud as hell

lol...ultimate puke and the immortal slime

@MrRosenburg Thanks, but the WWF bookers deserve most of the credit. I was amazed by how easily that analogy came together, with all the pieces already set up for me.

@Inediblehulk OH MY GOD Joey Styles style that was great my hat's off to you

@undergroundpredator 9/11 had nothing to do with Sgt. Slaughter or his Axis of Evil. The "Real American" Hulk Hogan hit the legdrop on those Twin Towers just like he did to the other Twin Towers in '89. Then President Tunney started pointing fingers and shifting blame, and the "Greater Power" Vince McMahon worked all you marks into a bleating frenzy. It wasn't justice, it was vicious.
"the ultimate puke" loooool
