In response to a question during a town hall meeting in Manchester, New Hampshire on June 3, 2011, Romney said:

"I don't speak for the scientific community, of course,but I believe the world's getting warmer. I can't prove that, but I believe based on what I read that the world is getting warmer. And number two, I believe that humans contribute to that."

@WW2medalsNpatchesME Climate change (global warming) is characterised by a general trend towards warming, which leads to extreme weather events. Check the average temperatures over the year and i guarantee you they will be higher than the previous year. As for the snow in october, there isn't any snow where I am... and the fact that you highlight it as an unusual weather event is more evidence IN FAVOUR of climate change rather than against it!

Interpretation of what Romney said; 'Well, there are a lot of human beings on Earth and human beings many time break wind, most do this privately of course so there is no way to measure this, and all this gaseous release is hurting the ecological balance; Earth needs to get back into balance or else we all perish from our own flatulence. Have you seen your own carbon foot print after you defecate? well, we need to impose a carbon tax for that too, and we'll all be better off.
