Watch as this pocket laser ignites flash paper inside a balloon and makes it explode! The action repeats in slow motion. This laser is a bit like the Revealed 007 Weapon or the Cheapy Lighter Laser Burner only stronger. It also resembles the Star Trek phaser laser demonstration with its violet color. The laser power is 600 to 700 mW based upon a 12X speed Blu-Ray burner drive diode, strong enough to burn wood. The burning power is roughly equivalent to an S3 Arctic Spyder III.

It was only because of the ebmer that that ballon popped....that being said if we can find a cheap way to make a fire inside something like a ballon without causing embers, and making it last a long time......we may just have a partially eco friendly alternitive to light that doesn't make us look like cavemen...
