why must you always ruin vieos by playing 'heavy rock 'shit .the majority of motorcyclists don't like it.. it does not enhance the films. FACT.

Mike Hailwood was a real Gent, I met Him.
Wish this Vid could be heard in Engish-- or even Welsh fer Me!
What some people don't understand.
The 'Gap' years as we say now
Winning in the 60's then doing a fair old job in Car Racing then coming back to the TT and doing a Great Job 'Whooping' the Boys, with whatever engine internals were in the Sports Motorcycles 'Duke'
The Man!!

Was there in '78 - at Quarter Bridge - totally amazing atmosphere ! - Mike is The Number One of All Time

This sounds 100% correct as I just can't imagine a stock 900 SS motor holding up to this kind of punishment, particularly in the gearbox and clutch departments. NCR obviously knew this as did Cook Nielsen and Phil Schilling with their Daytona victory on an early 750 SS complete with "bespoke" gearbox. Was indeed a thrill to se the legendary Hailwood back on a Ducati after all those years. You no doubt know his early carreer included some miles on a 125 Triple Cam.

Ah la photo en Ducati 900 world champion je l ai en poster original d époque meilleur pilote Mike

And that same Ducati (although there seem to some other 'ex Hailwood' Duke's around!) was unfortunately crashed by George Fogarty at the TT and burned out.
