  • well sung... i am an indigenous woman living in an aborignal community, this is one of my favourite carmody songs... really well done! love it

  • @LizaLips1 Me hypocrite, LOL! Explain it, please.

  • @vins1979 What are you talking about? Don't make such xenophobic remarks you hypocrite.

  • sounding a bit bono on this ....who woulda thunk ?

  • It's amazing how many English people speak against English colonialism and then look down at foreigners just because they didn't prepare their cappuccinos the way they wanted or because they speak their language with a different accent. Or, even better, they just assume foreigners are made for working in off-licences or kebbab shops. How nice feeling 'forgiven' after a song. Yeah, right, and what about everyday-life?

  • belial259, I think you'll find that Kev Carmody wrote and sang the original, you can find on his album Images & Illusions - I think its still available from Kev Carmody's website.

Kev was featured at the start of the vid and the uploader also credited Kev. Kev Carmody is an amazing singer song writer that Australians seems to know little about....what a shame. The Insurge version is much faster and heavier. My fav is still Kev's.

  • Nice cover. But the original Insurge version is > all

  • @gwarrilow these four chords have been used in the passenger (not exactly the same though) and in hundreds to say the least other songs . they are not copyrighted :)

  • Steve Kilbey-потрясающий артист.Артист с Большой буквы!!!!!!!!!

  • Don't get me wrong I think Steve Kilbey has made a huge contribution to music ....

but this just sounds like a slowed down dreary version of Iggy Pop's "The Passenger" to me. Anyone else agree ?
