They should call it a C62 or E62/S62... but they want to relate it to the M100 engine of the 70's / late 60's.

It is a 6.2 liter engine. Just like like newer s600 or SL600 have 5.5L v12 engines... not 6.0 like you'd think. Look it up @ the epa website or under the hood. It is a 6.2L not 6.3L
