@Shawshank1Gaming oh, the main part i took as disrespect was the "Your sword might be "metal", but that doesn't make it real." it came to me as if you were calling me a "dumbass" that could not make out a display sword from a actual functional one. Anyway i did ask the questions because i did not know about what goes on in xma and my apologies for being an ass :) was just one of those days...
@Shawshank1Gaming You in no way answered my question, instead you put a disrespectful comment of your opinion that i nor anyone else cared about. Also just to clarify i asked that if that technique had a name, i thought it was implied and quite obvious that they were held together.I also asked if hes using a specific type of swords possibly made for his type of demonstrations in which i received no answer.
Fyi everything you stated is obvious common sense, i asked a question you had no answer.
When he puts the handles of the two swords together at 1:40 does that have a specific name or is it something he kinda came up with ? anyone know ? Also what type of swords are those ... and im not asking if their katana's or not i just mean i tried putting the handles or two of my own katana's together and it didnt seem right at all . Are his swords in a way "thin" ?
the best of best !!!!!

@TheRedsky09 wasn't being disrespectful, sorry if it came off that way.
also, if you knew anything about XMA or creative forms, you'd know the technique has no name.
Competitive weapons ARE "thin" or lighter.
He's obviously not using areal Katanas and you stated something about yours.
Which implies you're attempting to use actual Katanas.
I don't know how I came off rude, but whatever helps you get through the day ^__^

@Shawshank1Gaming Didn't notice this comment but still i fail to see why disrespect was necessary.
Thank you anyway .

@TheRedsky09 Btw, I don't think you own a "REAL" Katana. And if you do, it's definitely not used for XMA.
Your sword might be "metal", but that doesn't make it real.
Also, he doesn't actually put the ends together, he holds them together.
If you're interested, you might want to pick up on actual kendo or fencing, maybe even karate, tkd, whatever.
But learn your basics and then learn all the flashy XMA and tricking stuff.
This dude competes nationally, and doesn't do it just to play around.

@TheRedsky09 They're most likely competition swords.
different brands are like XMA, or G-Force.
Also, they're probably made out of some light weight metal for the purpose of competition.
