Great to hear that you enjoyed your return trip, and this time you got to choose your own food; no Smalahove. Welcome back;-)

Thank you so much for sharing this. It was fun watching the show and nice to see that you brought your family back to Norway.
This was an amazing experience to meet my relatives I had not met before and to see the land my family came from. Thank you for watching, and I know it is hard to connect with family, and I was very lucky because of the show...but keep trying!!

Hello and thank you
I've seen every episode of "Alt for Norge". It is one thing I've missed from this series and that is what happened next with the participants. You have made this series complete. It is gratifying to see that you have experienced more of Norway together with your family. Do you know how it went with the other participants, did they have contact with their families in Norway face to face. I wish for you and your family everything good this world can offer

@Mobraks Thanks! I think one of the best things about season 2 was watching the contestants receive information about their family on-air. We all got it during season 1, just not as part of the show. I definitely wanted to share this experience with everyone (especially fans of the show). I know Kari and Grant have gone back. I know others have wanted to go back, but might not have had time...but I think it's safe to say we've ALL reached out to our relatives :)

What a great trip you all had and takk for sharing. :) We visited Norway four years ago and had as enjoyable trip as you had...minus the relatives. And it didn't rain the day we visited Bergen!...they have 250 days of rain every year. We found everything to be so clean and tidy and expensive.(a beer was 10.00$) Our guide said, they didn't raise the prices because we were there...the locals pay them as well!

@TSB12556 omg, the beer and wine were VERY expensive. i think i spent $17 per glass of wine at a restaurant for the house wine. (it costs around $5 here). we didn't drink much on our trip. (in fact, i think i was the only one...) bergen was beautiful, even in the rain!

By the way, there's always rain in Bergen. The clouds coming from the sea gets crushed and forced upwards by the very high mountains surrounding that sad town which gives them a pressure change and it starts to rain.

@HaugMedia Seattle is the same way....very rainy because of the mountains and the constant onshore flow.
