  • @Gamesrock096 The only way your assumption will be correct is when we abolish the monetary system and completely re-arrange the way the world is governed, i.e. total anarchy is required first, for that to be even remotely possible. Please let us know when this will truely "help the paralyzed walk again".

  • @Meowbay Oh my god what is wrong with you. Of course its going to start of expensive. As time goes on they will be able to make it more quickly and efficiently. Then the prices will go down. Eventually it will be able to be used by everyone. Patience everyone who needs this you time will soon come.

  • @DesertHamster I've seen HAL but I think HAL only works with healthy body and it increases the strength up to 5 times. They plan to connect it to human brain so it can control it's movements but till then BerkleyBionics model is ahead. It should take 10-15 years before something practical is built & 20 years before it's affordable. I rather they just cure the damn desease using genetic mutation & stem-cell body-part manufacturing :)

  • @Hesam0000 i think the japanese unveiled one without crutches at the CES conference... going to be expensive as hell at first I wager. (google HAL cyberdyne)

  • Hurry up Berkeleybionics, build a crutch-free, do-it-all model and make available for sale at an affordable price before we get too old to walk.

  • ottimo

  • @Meowbay every technology is costly in the beginning and the cost goes down with time.......

  • @Sunnlife Again, the subject implies some kind of healthcare breakthrough the general public worldwide would benefit from. This is not the case at all. This is yet another instrument by and for the elite suffering from delusions of grandeur just because they have more money.

  • @neurocrater Exactly my point. Suddenly being the filthy rich paralyzed-legged son of some californian banker pays off. And being the poor non-californian puts you in the jealous spot for no other reason than that you were born somewhere unlucky. It's not like the people getting that exoskeleton ever worked harder in their lives or are more deserving of one than other human beings.

  • @foonty I'm seeing the Subject of the video, it says this will help the paralyzed walk again. It should say it helps the filthy rich paralyzed walk again.

Like I wrote: It's yet another FUCK YOU to poor people. Just so you know: Most of the money you have isn't true wealth, you're not worth more as a human being when you have more money. It might be good news to some, and it might look like an achievement to some, but most will have to suffer because they're not "here in California".
