"The Maid" Director: Ezra Stone. Writers: Hugh Wedlock, Howard Snyder, Jesse Goldstein, Phil Sharp. The episode opens with Joan and two friends, played by Sondra Gould (Gladys Kravitz #2 on "Bewitched") and Sheila Bromley having lunch at a Chasen's-like restaurant named Phebe Warren's (anyone care to shed some light on the name?). The friends are bragging about how they couldn't live without their respective maid/cook. Joan finds Tillie (Virginia Rose), a star-struck girl who fills the bill very well. In order to keep her she and Brad convince Tillie that they are friends with a bunch of A-Listers. This spawns some fun impressions of Ronald Coleman and Clark Gable by Jim Backus, and a bouncy Bette Davis from Joan. Tillie's biggest heartthrob is Rodney Parker (Phil Van Zandt-he played Dr. Carlos Salazar in the IMJ "Jealousy" episode and also the evil Dr. Jeckyl in the Three Stooges 3D short "Spooks" and many other TV and film projects.). Brad and he turn out to be Frat Brothers and Brad asks him to come to dinner. Rodney comes up with an alternate plan, which affords Joan the opportunity to flaunt her physical expertise and show just how far she'll go for a laugh!

I've never seen anything of this actress before but I loved this. Thank you for introducing me to her and her slapstick comedy - I'm hooked.

This one I've been looking for for ages. Was even gonna make an inquiry as to whether or not you had this episode. Saw a VHS for it on eBay awhile back & it's already gone, so this is especially a treat!
