Plane Crazy (1 of 3)

"Plane Crazy" performed in Disneyland's Fantasyland's Videopolis in the spring and summer of 1991. Last performance was Nov. 1, 1991. It was part of the temporary "Disney Afternoon Avenue". Guests would also have a chance to visit Baloo in his dressing room.

A special FBI agent recruits Chip n Dale from "Rescue Rangers", Launchpad McQuack from "Ducktales", and Baloo from "Talespin" to retrieve their X-22 spy plane from the evil clutches of these "Partners in Crime": Don Karnage from "Talespin" and Fat Cat from "Rescue Rangers". (Notice Baloo's and Fat Cat's mouth MOVE!)

I worked in the Afternoon Adventure and there were several cool stations...Scrooges Money Vault ...The Giant Swiss Cheese (chip n dale)..Baloos Dressing Room....The Ninetendo Tent.....and the Swinging Bananas (not fun when the show let out) haha

@filmfreak11 The Nintendo tent was a little arcade where you played the Disney-Capcom nintendo games that came out at the time (Ducktales, Rescue Rangers, Talespin). Kinda a forerunner to the Innovention video game section.

Well here is some news. Friend of mine works at Disney World, I showed him this vid. and He said that they are going to start this up skit/show there in 2011. they are finding a location spot to build a Permanent Home for it.

Don Karnage is one of my most favorite TaleSpin characters I think it's neat how Disney tried to make them look real or I guess you 'd say live.

I wish I could have seen the TaleSpin characters at disneyland but I was born I before the show came around and I'm not sure but they probably didn't have them any more when I got ot go to disneyland for the first time I don't remember how old I was when I got my first trip to Disneyland but I have been there more than once.

I thinkitssadthey're gone.

i must have seen this show 20 or 30 times during its run. at one perfromance my friend and i sat in the front row with big chocolate chip cookies we got from the snack bar. when don carnage announce he'll take away all the cookies we held ours up and taunted his "henchmen" with them. one came over and shook his fist at us. we just laughed at him. it was like neing part of the show. disneyland needs a new show like this.
