This is how the Ultramarine movie should have looked like and been (With a little more story and characters perhaps)

@graysonchalmers do you work for THQ then or just a fan of warhammer?
-

lmfu this weapon sound is better (machine gun)

@Azregah Dreadnoughts are more oversized power armour/life support than anything else. Of course this thing won't stand up to a hit from a Leman Russ or Predator Annihilator or anything like that, but that's not it's role.
-
They should have it in the next movie
-
Wait, why does it have an Imperial fists color scheme, but has markings of the White Scars, Dark Angels, and Skull Bearers Imperial chapters?
-
@RecoverRedeem In reality it's useless to have walking tanks. The legs are vulnerable, they are slow and they can easily loose their balance.
Plus first you have to find a nearly dead genetic manilpulated super warrior to pilote this thing.
Apart from the sound (as a lot of people previously pointed out) it's an amazing work at making a dreadnought a beleiveable warmachine

@danielfm Thanks for the kind words! Btw I also just got a new mix of the sound. Check out the video description for a link. Let me know what you think.

This is actually pretty flipping amazing. Approximately how long did it take? and is there by any chance a free version of this software? :D

@OhSleeperGuitar It took around 4 weeks of work but thats spread out on an off over a few months. Some of this was a learning experience. And now even years later there are things I still want to change and improve. As for a free version of 3ds Max, check out the Autodesk website they have a 30 day trial of Max, and if your a student I think they give good discounts.

@MadFluffyster Nice! Thanks! I already work at Sony Online, but I think it would be awesome to work on a 40k game at some point in my career. ;) And I was a huge fan of there first game Home World. It had some awesome hand drawn cut scenes that have stuck in my head to this day.
