Note how Elliott masks the intellectual bent of his work by deflecting his interest in Kierkegaard 's Either / Or. Could this be to avoid sounding high-falutin to his fan base? Afterall he did major in philosophy, and how conspicuously it shows! A kiss upon his heart.
