This is not Flipnote Studio V2. Flipnote Studio V2 is called Flipnote Memo and will be available in the Nintendo eShop (3DS) sometime in (what's left of) 2011.

@xguitarplayer64 They did not have it in Japan.A update included the Advanced Options.Anyway at 0:13 it says on the top screen Version 2.

Aye, they included all the V2 features in the Euro/US releases. Would be a bit silly to give us the inferior product and then go through the hassle of upgrading later ^_-

this is not v2 its the same as eu and US have wich is v1, all you do is go into the settings and enable the "Advanced Settings" option or somthing like that, then yuo have the extra tools

In Japan an update was released to include the advanced settings features you mentioned. In the original version these were not present. They simply released version 2 in EU/US first time round, rather than giving us an outdated product.
