Mrs. Obama needs to re-evaluate this program. Our kids NEED PROTEIN and DAIRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is ridiculous. Hungry kids do NOT learn better. Seriously! SAD that they are regulating this to this degree!

I second P.E. or sports for all kids, every day! Fund physical activity for all kids, pK-12.

I know, and it's a shame that people actually entrust this sort of thing to the gov't for their children.

The gov't makes the choice of food for the child, but the child can still elect to eat all, most, some, little, or NOT any of it at all. Adults do the same thing too, except that we actually have a choice of food.
I don't get the point of installing cameras in trash cans, to be honest. The gov't has all the power in what becomes school food in the first place.

Wise words, spoken with all the eloquence and authority that age brings to a high school student.
Truly, this countries brightest days lie ahead, not behind. Keep it up, young student! This country will always need fries with that!

Is this why, they are installing cameras in trash cans in Florida schools, humas, sprouts, and all her so called healthy food, the kids are trashing, and not eating anything at all.stay out of Florida, and our schools, do this in Chicago, kids ate fatter there.

Have any of the supporters of this program actually tasted this food? It is absolutely terrible. Government demands no more than 850 calories per meal. How about this, Obama? What happens when the small meal eaten at 12:00, doesn't give me the energy required for football practice at 3:30? And, wheat tortilla shells? Seriously? That's suppose to taste -delicious-? Reduce the amount of meat and protein, and double fruits and vegetables? Yeah, that will give me the energy I need.

No! Kids shouldn't be forced to take PE everyday! In P.E. you always have to choose partners for every activity, that can be hell for some kids, expecially if they don't know anyone in that class period!!!
