  • Holy cow I can't believe this has over 30,000 veiws thanks soooo much!

  • I loved Gunsmoke when I was a kid...anyone remember the episode called "Snowtrain" ? It was in 2 parts and the train was forced to stop in the snowy mountains by Indians. The actress from MASH starred in it.

Loved the story and the musical score was great too...like a Western movie.

  • Hey buddy!

I loved that episode, it was great!

    Thnx for commenting :)

  • R.I.P James. My favorite show of all time. What a depressing day.

  • Did anyone else ever notice that in the opening shootout in the street of Dodge City, that Matt Dillon is out gunned. The other guy fires first, but apparently missed, then Matt shoots him?I always noticed that and years later when I became a law enforcement officer I always concentrated more on aim rather than speed and it honestly made be a very good shot and actually saved my life

  • awesome

  • I remember this from being a little kid :\

  • @pegleg09able Funny you mention that episode, My dad always watched Gunsmoke when I was a little kid, and for some reason that episode sticks in my mind, in fact it's the only episode I remember. I remember the snow, and the Indians putting the logs on the track.

  • @pegleg09able Yes I remember really well.

  • Gunsmoke is real western television.

They sure don't make shows like that anymore.

Westerns owned TV at one time.

This is the best of the best.

  • Snow Train was great. They used a real train and real Indians. Very realistic. It doesnt get any better.

  • ,,yeah I remember that one, with the old man who hated his sissy son in the mountains ?
