I think it was very nice of her to try to translate them even if her English isnt very good. And English for Chinese people is very difficult! You should rather appreciate it instead of complaining about it.
And you could understand her. I mean, I'm German and even I understood her so a native speaker should understand her too...

I think the translator is a gymnastic fan also, and insert some 'own' comments instead of just doing translating. Or her English could not express what she wanted to say.
And I think sometimes mistakes in translation makes people misunderstood the gymnasts.

I guess they were just trying to say that people watching this video shouldn't trust the translator's words entirely. The part about Cheng Fei wasn't mentioned by JYY at all (unless it was off-video). The two people who commented about the translator are obviously proficient in both languages thus they can comment on the her accuracy. I agree with them that the english was a bit off, both grammatically and content-wise.

Oh dear. Yes I agree sqekcx - the translation was really bad; her English is awful and she didn't translate everything that the gymnast said. Are these people unpaid volunteers? Surely they could've found a better interpreter in Holland?

The translator is horrible to be honest. I should have been there.
What Huang Qiushuang said that didn't get translated was "I always go out of bounds on floor. I have had problems with that move (front full) since I arrived in Rotterdam.'
... oh sorry, she was the only kind person we just found!
Next we book Y O U as a frienly translator.
