Wow man, I know what you mean. I must have seen Paranoid Android music video back in the early nineties. Ever since, I would have strange flashbacks about Robin climbing a light post and having some scary guy dismember himself. As familiar as it was I could not pinpoint where I had seen it until recently and for no reason it clicked in my head the band AND song. Carlsson did a great job with making such a subconciously lasting video to go with such a great song. And the weed was great.
