i think if the neon had a good tune up that eclipse would lose because my friend has a fixed up honda an my neon plane stock can out run him...

I know my old R/T would of at least, now I drive a 99 accord vtec and it would eat that eclipse up aswell.

So he beat a stock most likely sohc neon, with some flashy shit, if they put up an R/T against that GTS there is no doubt in my mind that the neon would eat it up.

Ok my bad what i ment by inside wasnt interior, it was performance parts. I used to have a 97 neon/ dohc mxt. Eventually I was rear ended and that totaled it but oh well lol. They are fun cheap cars though.

Read my mods at the top dude, it was semi stock. Now I run with Magnum Head, '01 Magnum Camshaft, DOHC bottom end. 3.94 trans, 2g rt muffler, ACR suspension, I need a header, I sold the magnum header :( .what do you think about my mods?

my guess is too that that neon was at least a sohc, and maybe auto. so yeah no kidding it got beat lol. If your going to put money into a car, start from the inside, not the exterior. (not that much was done outside either)
