If he was a god then this story makes no sence at all because. His death transformed him to his original form of a god which negates the sacrifice. 3 days is nothing but a fraction of a second for an eternal being. that there is also a good. If you assume that, then you also assume there is an objective moral law. If you have an objective moral law, you must have a lawgiver. What is good to a perfect God? Who is justified? A good judge wouldn't let a guilty man walk away without the crime being paid for. That's why Jesus came. God looks at all sides of the evidence because he is a Just God. If there is evil there is good. If there is good and evil, there is a moral law. If there is a law, there is a giver.
