It's about Paganini, not Heifetz.

django was probably the best guitar player to ever live.not because of his disabled parts but because of the songs he created and the level he took what was before nothing but an accompaniast instrument.

do not take disrespect towards another instrument.dont believe that you are of higher class because of the violon.the violon is one of the most amazing instruments and always will be.a true music enthusiest can appreciate talent in all forms.there are many guitar players that would put many violin players to shame .the guitar while easy to learn is one of the hardest to master.listen to this song played on classical guitar.sounds amazing .anyways perfectly played and always wonderful.regards.GV

A guitarist can do anything your piano can, and more. It has more options for articulation, is suited well enough for the polyphonic music that made the piano popular in the first place, and can be applied easily to very nearly any genre of music. It's only real deficit is that it lacks the expanse of octaves provided by a handful of other string instruments.

A pity Mr. Broderick only played about 10% of the piece. He has a wonderful, though boringly mechanical technique. What are you trying to prove by citing this example of guitar playing? That he has quick fingers? So did Django Rheinhardt, but the difference is, he was a genius. Mr. Broderick patently is not!

John, I laughed so much about your phrase, "..the grace of technology"! Thank you for that.
