Drown

Nick starts every day the same way. He lies awake well before the alarm is due and crawls out of bed deprived of sleep. He stares at his reflection in disgust for a moment and heads out to visit his girlfriend in hospital. Here he sits by his comatose partner looking back on their beautiful relationship and wanders home in a worse condition than how the day started. Today will be different. As Nick reflects on how his girl fell to her current position the pain is just too much.
