@melvione4 You can get detailed instructions on how to set the background image on page 40 of the KW-AVX840 manual. It can be downloaded from the JVC website, there is a link on the KW-AVX840 product page.

I was looking forward to buying the jvc 840 soon I saw n the video that the jvc had in rear usb cable I have an flash drive with pic and 411 song an 85 music video's can I still use the rear usb cable for my flash drive ????????

@shivi1345 As of now, MotionX-GPS Drive is the only application we know of that will display its maps on-screen. It is possible other navigation apps will work as well, however MotionX-GPS Drive is currently the only application that is supported 100%.

@melvione4 Look at page 39-40 of your manual. First plug in your usb, bring up the picture. Then hit capture..save it over the existing capture. Then go into your settings > display > display design > backgrnd > Then choose the image you just saved (should be the 4th box)

@onetwo Answering my own question: converting with Freemake Video Converter. Settings: to AVI, 720x480, original adjustment, xvid codec, original framerate, auto bitrate, with 320kbps mp3 audio. Works great and the file sizes dont end up being too big for the usb stick.

Also, whats the framerate limit on files through the USB stick? I have some 60frame/sec videos that get a 'framerate not supported' error.
