what year is this heater from?

My grandmother has a Vornado heater similar in age to this one and it still works perfectly. None of my Vornado heaters last past 2 years:(

take a little more to energize than the fan
moter out of one of the two in that heater
that why fan heaters that do run on high speed
fan have a auther kind of plug with the flat or t going prong knifes for a sockit that dose a higher amp service such as a a 20 or 30
amp at 240 volts sockit

Marvelous. Notice this unit is USA made and STILL working? Is there a cheap chink heater this old still functioning? I doubt it.

Heaters like this typically run on 120 Volts Alternating Current. The wattage of a heater like this usually ranges from 1320 to 1600 watts.

oh yes the tipover kill switch in it but i wod
pafer this one senes the element gets more hotter that the newer ones in newer fan heaters meaning more heat capability.

how long do you have to run the fan only mode to cool the unit down after uses?

I'm not sure, I have a modern Holmes space heater that is safer to use around my pets so this one doesn't generally see much action....
