Awww, they're NOT worthless. Spanish is so annoying, there are different terms and accents wherever you go. It's not like english at all. There's much more variety.
U know, I'm from Uruguay (tiny, little country between Argentina and Brazil) and if i go to Colombia, I'd have trouble understanding what they mean even if we're speaking spanish. Cuz they talk in a total different way than we do. We can relate to argentineans, but there's still a difference.
So, don't worry. :)

Good for you, then. ;) I love english, sometimes i fell like i can express myself better in that language, and i go "i wish i had been born in the US", or any country where the official language is english whatsoever, but then im like "no way, spanish would be a pain then". I once tried to teach spanish to a non-native speaker. And it was rough. And so i know, one thing is speaking a language and trying to transmit/teach it is a whole different thing. It's so weird. =P

@Twilighter097 Well... for some... I've been learning to say it pretty well and I'm not even talking classes... I have no Spanish blood in me whatsoever though. Lol
