Eve online PvP Drake attempt

me attempting to pvp with a friend. sorry if any lag. any tips would be nice. (i'm working on t2 weapons)

Just to toss out a few recomendations that you've probably already figured for yourself. Weapon Upgrades and Advanced Weapon Upgrades are the skills to grab to get around your fitting issues. Since you have electronics upgrades V Im guessing you went for stealth bombers, will be much easier to fit them with those skills done.

@Unf0rget yea i'm trying o fly a stealth bomber. there very nice, but sucks in high sec when you can't use bombs. :(

Just to mention, as well, having the best equipment will never make a fight 100% winnable. Clever tactics on either side can, and usually does, push the balance greatly.

@THINKMACHINE sadly my current computer has to run lowest settings. it doesn't lag with fraps not running. I mostly use smaller ships. such as frigs and t2 frigs now. there fun. but it was the test server, who wouldn't.

NOS on a Drake is not so good. Neut or NoS+Shield Booster (or more tank). Target drones and kill them with your drones. Also, once you figure out you can't win it's time to start hunting the exit.

You really should be doing your first PvP in cruisers or smaller. You might want to turn your graphics settings down as well.

Another point is that your fits look relatively good, but they all have small problems that make them somewhat unsuitable for PvP. As mentioned by others, in any real PvP you will need to fit some sort of speed mod; afterburner or microwarpdrive. Damage output is very important as well, that one extra launcher would have made a big impact.

@hazeee123 And you can kill intys with them. Be careful with going overboard with your tank with something like a Drake. It's real easy to end up with a brick that can't break anyone else's tank.

Another thing, you have no MWD. Maybe it doesn't matter in a fixed fight like this, but you REALLY want one in real pvp. So, don't get used to the idea of not needing one.

If this were real pvp in lowsec where you caught a myrm ratting, I bet someone would have found you and killed both of you.

@natzilllla1 ah i see :) fair enuff with some secodary skills in missiles and gunnery u will be able to fit them :) at lest advanced weapon upgrades off teh top of my head deal with reducing the power there isn another skill that reduce cpu and also engniering skills will bring more power to your grid and also electronic skills will deal with cpu :) keep up the good work ( ps sorry for bad spelling and typing )
