this song is on a tape my husband made for me in '79 before we started dating... i fell hard for him after that...
we still play this tape on the day of our dating (30 years) and wedding anniversary (26 years) :o)

To continue: Breakups are a part of life! A sad part non the less. Someone said: "It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. Amen to that. For in this you know that you are still alive. And the chances of meeting someone else is great. Don't get love shock or linger in anger. Let your heart love again. There is someone out there that will stay with you. Keep looking. Also don't treat someone like a throw away. Or you will be saying "Here comes the hurt again."

Just wanted to say thank you for this song. I have retired so you know about my age and I have never heard this song before. I am a Manhattans fan and I love this song. Have played this song about 15 times in a row. Music like this speaks to my heart. I wish the children could understand this music and understand that it is natural for us to feel the pain of loss without getting angry and wanting to lash out at someone because they don't feel about us the way that we feel about them.

the groups nowadays can't hold a candle to the soul singers of the 60,='s 70's and 80's it is a pleasure to be able to find all the classic sounds thanks for posting them

Hmmmmmmm...good music that touches the soul, doesn't irritate but soothes! Thank you guys and ladies for this music. I was brought up in this era, and never heard most of these songs. Thanks to You Tube and the people that post these videos, I'm experiencing a new relationship with my past and present.
