Rep. Waters: "Why the Congress of the United States has to continue to re-authorize the Voting Rights Act. The answer to that question is sad but simple and true, discrimination. America, we stand before you today re-authorizing the Voting Rights Act because we have to continue to have safeguards in law to prevent cities, counties, states, and other jurisdiction from devicing laws, practices, tricks, and procedures that impede the right to vote by minorities in this country."

I just deleated my angry comments. They were written before u could write an actual repose to someone's comment so now when i read back i dont even know who it was aimed at.

but they were in response to racists comments where i bet the people who wrote them would never say out loud but will annonymously on youtube.
