And every time we show a video like this to our students I wonder how many of those who really need to get it don't understand it because they cannot read fast enough. In other words, I am *not* worried about the youngsters (and parents) who can follow and comprehend a fast-paced presentation like this.
@Jeronimosdc I totally agree. The classroom experience is wasteful, inefficient, and bloated. The future of education is online and on-demand. It will involve video conferencing for lectures, although I think in-class testing still has a role (to minimize cheating).
amazing... i haven't heard from the new recently even for the past years about the ups and down of education, when i saw this video it WOW! me.. somewhat scary but maybe sooner or in the near future those countries who are left behind now will be the in the top of our list.
@phillyfreak7 I would build an educational system online but I would also build research centers where people could gather and do research based on a goal. I mean, today a lot of people go to class hoping to get a job and thats it. I would implement a system where people must have a goal, something they want to build or do. These centers would allow them to achieve this and even find people with similar goals or dreams to work together.
Right now, traditional education as in going to class to listen to an incompetent teacher (usually) and learn very little to then realise that what you have learned for the past years is now outdated...MUST STOP !!!! And for thos who think it can be fixed, it CANT. Accept that traditional education systems are finished and lets move on.

@Jeronimosdc I agree that current schooling is outdated. However, what would you do to implement a new system?
