I've got plenty of kits and puttying has been the one vague phase for me. This has been helpful, thank you. You are the Steven Seagal of kit modeling, Reb.

I'm making a Hand of my custom made Team fortress 2 Heavy because I want the articulation of the Master Grades' hands for my 6 inch figure.

You are correct about Tamiya putty, it is hard to use but it is the only product I know and I've had great results with it. Nice introduction video...

Rebl how about if I'm making a model kit and the joints don't quite fit so what do I do?

My best advice would be to sand and putty as need until you get a better fit.

Thanks man! Also how about Ball Joints just incase they don't fit? I mean since I am waiting for my ball joints to shipped. So do I do the same?

To be honest I have never worked with ball joints before, but I would assume that my previous comment should hold true. Out of curiosity what exactly are you making?

I believe that Tamyia makes on for vinyl but don't quote me on that. What you might do is try searching some of the online hobby stores for vyinl putty and see what you get.
