    Thanks for the laugh! The "excuses at the end of a climb" is the best...a few additions:

    - I should have more air in my tires, they're slowing me down

    - My fork's settings are all jacked, I'm losing so much energy on these climbs

    - I was up all night with my kid so I'm wiped

    - I pushed too hard on the first mile of the trail, I'm gassed

    - It's too early in the season to be riding at elevation (anyone from CO laughs)

    - I think my brakes are rubbing

    - I missed a shift and totally lost momentum
