This is more proof that the judge is an idiot. Willing to match answers that are nothing alike while answers that are similar in nature get the buzzer.

@wpghi5 But Cheeta on Tarzan WAS a Chimpanzee ^,^ Cheeta was just his name.
Also this has got to be the record for longest time taken to reply...

@nawaarimasen I thought that too... in later years (like 78/79) they were A LOT more lenient. The Finishing School episode was VERY early in Match Game. It seems that all "monkey family" was going to be acceptable.

Ok, ok, i was thinking giraffe too Richard! Reason is: Giraffes are cute, but they are awfully tall with very long necks. So, to give a giraffe a hickey, you would have to be very much in love to try and reach their neck! ;) So, Richard's answer was the best one really.

Hickies are on necks...Giraffes!!!! I would have thought that would have been the obvious answer. Richard Dawson was a stand-up comic so he knew how to work the punch line. I would never had guessed monkey/ape... maybe they were thinking of Charlton Heston kissing that ape in Planet of the Apes.
