GREAT--starting off with the very first opening butterfly! Loved the booty popping segment, LOL! Ha HA, I've tried that in private--can't even squeeze a single butt cheek! Your splits are getting more flexible there at 1:25. It's incredible you are now doing the mechanics of a Superman fall! When Karol posted her tutorial on this move a year ago, it was an advanced "get" wanted by all the advanced level polers and YOU are doing it! As for the body wave, hey--at least you can actually (...)

You know, over all, what is most amazing about this video is how you have gone from being tentative and unsure as a beginner last year to a confident poler eager to try new stuff and able to freestyle and experiment with movements, placements, and positions. And now your relationship with your teacher has become more collaborative--with each of you watching the other and sharing ideas and patterns of movement--this is waht is so amazing about pole, I think! Pole work in this vid was (cont'd)

I've been lowering myself into the Superman Fall to get used to the motion, but I still can't bring myself to take that next step and plunge into the Scorpio! Plus, my thigh is all burnt up from Holly Drop practice. If I tried to do a Superman hold right now, I might rip my leg off. Haha

thanks just not sure what to do now that i got the invert. i am boggling my brain!. btw, i wish i was in the UK, ya'll r amazing

Miss Jenn, I'm in the UK! :D Congrats on getting your invert, that's a huge step **applause**

i wish i could i live in NY lol. i love it. i wish i had friends to practice with. i am having a hard time learning alone. the strength is hard, i can't even flip myself around like that. i just finally got a invert .
...can actually HOLD yourself in the Split Grip...I cannot succeed at even staying in that position any longer than the basic "TOE-TAP" move--like a 1/2 second! Bravo onyour candle spin. JC's ability to fly up on to the pole in his L-bracket type holds while spinning just amazes me. He is one of the natural born pole geniuses--much like Sarah Cretul, I think he's more at home in the air than on the ground! Nice work, Gsylass--you should be very proud!!!

Even if you reinforce and smooth over a move you already learned, that still counts as progress. Also, if you try learning a new move, but don't get it the first time, you are still learning something; and this too counts as progress. The Superman Fall scares me a lot! But I'm getting a better Holly Drop.

Thanks :-) Ooh the Holly Drop is one I'd love to get!! The superman fall isn't difficult if you think about what you're going to do first, and then do it slowly.
