I spent 1975 at Kunsan and it hit me about 20 years ago that it was the best days of my life. Loved the base, downtown and A-Town was great and peaceful in 75. Kunsan was the best.

I was there in 2009-2010 it was the best time I ever had met a lot of cool people there and I am security forces so that's saying a lot lol. I feel like once a Wolfpack member then your one for life so shots out to all the Wolfpack fam here on youtube.

Kunsan, Love it or Hate it. I had the best time there! focus on the good and life will be more pleasant.

I was there just recently, and so far, that's been my favorite base. Of course I don't have much to compare it to....Shaw and Hill.

yeah, i was there 81-82 and I have come to the same conclusion as you--only 19 years old, best days of my life, and didn't realize it back then.

Italy! I have a couple of friends at Aviano, they've enjoyed every minute there. That must've been nice. I'm stuck in the US for a couple of years. Experiences over seas inspire me to stay *GS*. I've seen enough for a lifetime these past 6 years. Take it easy...Old Timer. haha

You bet, I couldn't wait to get away, of course I was there in 69/70, dirt road to town, biggest bldg there was a 2 story, nothing around the base but rice patties, Now in 76 to 83, San Vito Italy, a whole different story, didn't want to leave. LOL,
