Another way to beat him is the butterfly net.

@superaziz14 The Dead Man's Volley is the "mini-game" style of beating bosses by reflecting their projectiles back at them. Examples include Agahnim, Phantom Ganon/Ganondorf from Ocarina of Time, Phantom Ganon in Wind Waker, Possessed Zelda in Twilight Princess, and several others in the Zelda series. The term got its name in Phantom Hourglass by the Diabolical Cubus Sisters who have to be defeated in the same way.

The game that gave us the now-famous Dead Man's Volley boss battle. I don't think any of us as kids realized at the time just what a paradigm shift this game--especially this battle--was in the world of gaming. This, along with the classic "attack the glowing weak point" method has become one of the most common boss battle formats out there.
Nintendo loves putting this "Dead Man's Volley" in their Zelda games!
