Most of the houses are now demolished or uninhabited, while the whole area is set for redevelopment.

middlesbrough is not that bad for god sake.
no matter were u live these good and bad area and people.
i have lived in a range of areas in the ts post code 1/6/8/3/20 and all i can say is what the hell was the council thinking of pulling down these house i have lived in street houses with single glazed no heating etc with private landlords the should be pulling down the likes of street houses and just up grade houses like these .no factory =no work

Im from boro as you can tell by my name. I couldnt say one thing bad about boro. People here a great. obviously theres worse people, but where not picture perfect. No-one is. I am from Hartlepool and I know loads of great Boro lads.Boro is a fucking great place.I don't give a fuck what those snobby bastards say about it,all this dereliction
is due to a Government a Tory one Thatcher and her failed dogma of Monaterism that is what pulled the Heart out of the Work on Teeside.I think it's to the peoples credit there that they have not caved in and folded.These people have some real
