Straight legs on the chainée turns, pointed feet, lifting out of the shoes (vs. sinking into them), and true fifth positions all would have made it prettier.

(All of that probably would have happened, too, if the artistic director had found an ever-so-slightly slower arrangement. Would have helped the brisées, too. I know… the brisées are killer :P love 'em, but they're killer.)
