Calling Ade Edmondson a "wanker" for doing this song is ironic considering the song is about masturbation - and I'm certain he knows that. What the hell else do you think turning Japanese means? It's about the screwed up face and slitty eyes every teenage boy makes after he discovers there is suddenly one more reason to visit the bathroom. Song was written and released in the seventies, so being PC was not top of the nation's agenda in british music or on the telly.

I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt --- everyone has bad days, and no one always handles situations the best way possible --- but from the stories I’ve had people tell me about bad celebrity encounters, 9 times out of 10 it was their own fault. So there’s a pretty good chance it was something you did.

Aside from that, he has a lovely voice! I'm surprised he didn't permanently damage it from playing Vyvyan!!
