i can't believe you can say it isn't strenuous. you clearly didn't do it carrying all your food and tent etc. camping along the way. the weight and heat absolutely killed me and my friends and is an achievement that will stay with me forever

Wonderful video and great music! (Especially the song I, as a baby boomer, will always associate with the Righteous Brothers.
I'm doing the C2C in an escorted group next June. Any advice for training, gear, clothing, equipment? Thanks!

Love the pictorial images of such great walks.I myself have done a few.Unfortunately not as many as i would like.I hope to do the Coast to Coast before i expire.Great work.Thanks for spending the time putting them up here.

I'm pleased to hear that you are going to do the C2C walk.
The walk overall is not too strenuous with only a few days being what you might call challenging. You will need a fitness level that allows you to walk for up to 8 hours at a time, possibly in rain, over hill and dale.
I think the most important thing to have is a good set of boots that you have spent a good deal of time breaking-in. Take Compedes for blisters.
