@boumar19721972 I understand why you think it is technology and education but the biggest factor is food and poverty. If your children have a high chance of dying then you are likely to have more of them. America is fat and happy (relatively speaking) so you have less children. Note the rich have the fewest children of all.

@boumar19721972-I do agree with all of your points, but I'd still rather see the population go down worldwide. I hate to see the r/forest, wildlife etc get destroyed at the behest of humans. It's us that needs to be destroyed along with all religions.

@Saywhatyoumust I still believe that technology and education is the answer.Look at the countries that don't have the education system we have, they're the ones breeding like flies.Educate about sex and birth control.One other factor that's hurting contraception is religions.They are against birth control.

@boumar19721972-Yes, the deserts can be cultivated and we could also use the N/S Pole, but that is still destroying the planet (like the r/forest). We are destroying this beautiful planet at the behest of humans being irresponsible and being very greedy. People need to STOP breeding by using whatever means possible.

@Saywhatyoumust Not really there is a lot of arable land that is not being used because some societies don't know how to cultivate them or don't have the technology to grow there.We can grow in the desert or at the north pole or inside with hydroponics, greenhouses and build desalination plants to have fresh water.Money is a burden and it limits us.The population issue can be resolve with education. /watch?v=PN6puH9DYnQ

@boumar19721972-There is now not enough land go around. The world is now so over populated for this to work unless you totally destroy things like the rain forest etc. People need to STOP having so many children worldwide. I would like to see a w/wide 2 child policy for the next 3-4 generations regardless of wealth, race, religion, how many times one marries etc. Once you have had your two, that's it - no more. Maybe on the 5th gen, to 'consider' 3 children, then to go back down to 2......

The government has been complicit in this systemic catastrophe. A revolving door where our government has been redesigned to be both BIG and INEPT. The worst of both worlds for the average American and the best system for the well connected 1%. The regulators are competent enough to know that a few high paying private sector jobs are there for them if they are willing to play in this game. The game is rigged to ensure the laws are weak, and where they exist, are not enforced.
