    I'm Swedish so i'm new with SNL(mostly 'cause i was born in 92 and never heard of SNL until now, & they saddly only show the new episodes so i never get to see sketches with Will Ferrell, Mike Myers & all the others)

    Ed Grimley is the nexus. the only character ever carried over from sctv to snl. You can see Jimminy Glick. You can see Kids in the hall. Its that sort of sense of humor we all have half way between stand-up comedy and playing the fool...sort of a classic clown of some sort. Half way between the mid-80's and earlier and the modern absurdism. A nexus of all that is funny...Who the flickal doesn't love Martin Short? He was the funniest amigo.
