Ronnie James Dio performing "Man On The Silver Mountain" on a US late night television show, "The Rock Palace." I believe this was recorded very shortly after the release of the "Holy Diver" album.

From the same show, also see:

Please discover a way to resurrect Dio from the dead. I don't care how

you're gonna do it. Some kind of DNA sample, Jurassic Park sort of procedure, whatever.. you people figure it out. You're supposed to be the "experts" so get on with it!, please. Millions of lives are at stake.

P.S: See if you can do something about Freddie Mercury as well while you're at it...and Jim Morrison...and Jimi Hendrix...and Bon Scott

  • @wsiklogfh Dio would not agree with your post...and I knew him...he would not agree that anyone however evil should be brutally murdered...and I can't speak for him but knowing him he encouraged anyone to believe in their music....and he never to my knowledge called a woman a bitch...Ronnie would kick you out of the party with views like that

  • I fucking miss him so much...

  • we don't have to resurrect dio...he will never die!!!!!!!!!

  • 29 ppl don't appreciate good music!

  • @wsiklogfh something needs to stop this insipid Beiber-fever crap and Lady gaga shat on the radio now a days.

  • This is when they were their strongest I think. The bad is so tight it's crazy.

  • Great song!!

  • Both versions are good, but I prefer this!

  • the best version

  • @Crowsfan55 Amen to that!

  • @mistyle1 I saw Rainbow live with Cozy Powell. I'll never forget that show and its been several decades ago. When all were together, it was incredible. I love Dio and his solo work and like Blackmore a lot but you will never see this full force until you have seen it live with everyone at their best. Dio is the voice of Rainbow. Blackmore can't do this well with anyone but Dio. That said, Blackmore on guitar, its one of a kind playing. Just be glad you dig it now. I'm glad you do ;)
