Yup, I'm a huge raven/crow freak. The bird in this video is a raven. The bill, tail feathers, the telltale beard and size look like that of Raven. Typically a raven is twice the size of a crow and weighs about 4 times as much. The call is different too; more gutteral. There's a bunch of them that live near my house.

It depends on the size of the bird. Those called crows are generally about the same size. Those called ravens are also quite a bit larger than crows. If the bird is distinctly larger than a European carrion crow, it will usually be called a raven.
