This is not Fiona Apple. Doesn't even sound like her or her songwriting. It's some band called Fleming And John.

I've contacted Fleming & John years ago through myspace, and they explained it was some sort of mix-up with a tape demo that somehow got attributed to Fiona. It was something like that.

On behalf of all the smart people on the internet (all 7 or 8 of us), I would like to inform all the idiots out there that Fiona Apple had NOTHING to do with this song. She did not sing it. She did not write it. We don't even know if she's even HEARD it. And, by the way, there is a parody of 'Barbie Girl' called 'Ugly Girl' that is by Jack Off Jill, NOT Weird Al Yankovic. Fiona Apple did not record every female-sung tune and Weird Al did not record every song parody. Please resume drooling now.
