Unitarian Universalist Tri-Choir Concert 2007

In January 2007, the choirs of three Maryland Unitarian Universalist churches in the Washington D.C. area met for a weekend to enjoy the act of making music together. The concert benefited their music programs. The choirs included:

Davies Memorial Unitarian Universalist Church
Rev. John Crestwell, Minister
Dixon Redditt, Director of Music
Nancy Dalzell, pianist

Paint Branch Unitarian Universalist Church
Revs. Barbara Wells ten Hove and Jaco B. ten Hove, Ministers
David Chapman, Music Director / Pianist

Unitarian Universalist Church of Silver Spring
Rev. Elizabeth Lerner, Minister
Michael Holmes, Music Director
Phyllis Stanley, Pianist

The concert is now an annual event, and the 2nd concert in February 2008 included one additional choir:

Goodloe Unitarian Universalist Congregation
Rev. Cynthia Snavely, Minister
Michael Relland, Music Director

Dixon Redditt, Director of Music at DMUUC retired in 2007, and he was replaced by Denise Brenner, who led the DMUUC and combined choirs in the 2008 event.
