What the fuck is this???

its RACKETBALL. a bastardised, inferior version of racquetball played with a slower ball on a squash court. designed by englishman ian wright in the 70's when he returned from the states when there were no racquetball/handball courts in uk he designed this version. this version is killing the game of racquetball because it can be played on existing squash courts without a proper handball/racquetball court being required.

May not be the racquetball I'm used to but it looks fun.

Hey, instead of stating facts about 70's, why don't you focus on now? This is not racquetball @jsphotos

This is racquetball. The live bounce of the ball increased dramatically (about 30%) during the early 70's. Before that, players like Charlie Brumfield, Steve Keely, and Steve Strandemo dominated the game with superb hard *and soft* strategy. Racquetball adopted the live ball in the hope of gaining TV attention. It failed - and in my opinion, changed the game to a pure power game, minus 75% of the power and shot finesse it had before the ball was changed.

In the early, early days, they used to have racquetballs that were the same consistency of squash balls. I'd rather play squash than this HYBRID version of the two games.
This is the non-American version of racquetball
