  • there are two types of standardbreds. trotters and pacers. here you see one of each.

    All of the Standardbreds in Australia (where i live) all Pace, so i was confused!! Hahaha!!! Like Trotters better, riding Standardbreds when they pace is like Jelly on a plate!!!

  • haha. i didn't think that was true. the two standardbreds we had imported from AUS were trotters. and i think a good pace is a lovely smooth gait to ride!
